Speaking of natural fiber….just added this knotted jute rug into my own primary bedroom and I’m loving it! 🙌🏻 My husband immediately questioned the “organic smell”, but now that it has aired out over night (which is a typical step necessary for all natural fiber rugs), it’s a winner. So the good news is: we both love it and it’s even more beautiful in person. The bad news is: our existing end of the bed bench has a boucle texture and it conflicts with the knottiness of the new rug. I moved the bench to the playroom and now have a void in our bedroom. The horror, I know. 😜 I’ll now be on the search for a perfect end of the bed bench…maybe something fully upholstered in a two toned linen or do I go with something entirely wood?!?
