You will laugh until you pee your pants. ⠀ STORYTIME re: Savage – I received one of the best compliments last week. I’m riffing with a friend at the bar after a day of show prep and this marvelous bartender at BurritoGallery just mixes right into our schtick. He’s laughing it up, keeping up with insults, and just being incredible while pouring booze. (The best a man can get, ya know?) And I can’t tell if he finds me entertaining or is just doing it for the tip. (Just for a second, ya know?) ⠀ We shoot some jokes back and forth and he pauses to say, “If you don’t watch this hilarious tv show called ImSorry on @Netflix you should. Your humor reminds me of @AndreaSavage and I’m living for you tonight.” ⠀ 😭 I died. BEST. COMPLIMENT. EVER. And on top of that, last week she and I basically wore the same dress so, she’s my people. ⠀ Point of my ramblings is that a person I paid 💵 in exchange for 🍷 complimented me far better than any loved one who actually knows me has in a fashion that only someone void of emotions like me can appreciate.
