It will soon be time for a Fall refresh -- swapping in some warm wood tones and fabulous wicker texture.

I love a great textured tray. Somehow everything on a tray becomes a statement, instead of clutter. Time to make that work for you.

This small round round wood tray has gorgeous clean lines with just a hint of elevation, perfect for those smaller spots.

I have the tiered tray in white, but maybe I need the brown version for Fall. By-the-way, I've also used the trays solo several times (just have to set something over the hole).

And I love the oversized wicker tray for a coffee table display. The contrast of the texture against smooth wood tabletop or a velvet ottoman would be wonderful.

I used large mirrors to help maximize light in this room that is naturally rather dark. And took them floor to ceiling.

Fresh take on a henley top -- 1/4 button up neck opening, but this time with cute pleated trim. Same trim is around the cuffs and the buttons are functional, so you can button up or open up as much as you like. Looks really cute unbuttoned with a contrasting cami peeking out.

Great blend that looks like cotton. If feel really high quality and cozy. It doesn't seem like tht kind that will quickly pill -- or even pill at all. (Fingers crossed on that one.

Lighting can make (or break) a room — in how it feels AND how it functions!

Besides general or ambient lighting (ceiling pot lights for us), you want/need accent and task lighting. Often, the same fixture serves both.

Try for a mix of lighting direction. Open shelving and islands are lit from above with light shining downward. It was important to find swing arm fixtures to flank my sink with light directed up but still lighting the sink area. Success! (Yes, I installed it “upside down”)

I think picture light is the perfect solution for a dark corner over the built in wine rack

Perfect antidote for cold weather. This game became our go-to game over the Christmas break! Our original cooperative play (how high could we build together) quickly became cut throat as we began stacking crosswise too and then also hanging off the side pieces. We turned it into a 3D game and had a blast doing so!

Definitely want a version with at least 48 pieces!

Our box says for ages 3+. FALSE! Pre-schoolers can have fun stacking them on a flat surface. But don't expect them to stack them on the teeter totter stage.
