2024 was a great year for me and my health journey. I lost 14 pounds eating MORE at 48 (during perimenopause!) 😲 Yesterday I ate 2203 calories!!! I used to eat only around 1400- 1500 calories (without losing any weight). What did I do? In short:
✅Increased my protein intake to around 165g/day
✅Reduced my fat intake to around 65g/day
✅Increased my Bodypump workout (a barbell class that trains every muscle) to 3x/week (consistently adding heavier weights)
✅I also walk at moderate pace (3.5-4mph) 4x/week for 45 minutes
This isn’t keto! I eat carbs in every meal. This isn’t a diet. It’s a lifestyle.
