Here’s everything you need to DIY this framed botanical art. I used custom mats to create a smaller opening in this red Michael’s frame (I also added a red accent color for extra flair). I ordered them on Mattboardandmore.com. You can completely customize the size and colors of the board and it’s not very expensive at all (like $8 per mat and free shipping if I remember correctly). I used good ol Elmer’s glue to affix the pressed flowers to white paper with a heavier stock cut down to fit within the frame (I used paper from a sketch pad). Elmer’s clear glue is very forgiving— you can adjust the positioning and the glue doesn’t show when dry. Then I just put all the pieces together. It’s that easy. And to my eyes anyway, it looks pretty professional. LTKhome
