Okay this is an old post recycled from last winter but so many mom friends have been asking how I send hot lunches to school. These stainless steel hot meal containers help me send them with a home-cooked meal- my way of sending a warm snuggly hug. I use hot water (212 degrees /boiling) to warm these stainless steel meal containers and then heat the food to piping hot. Add hot food to the hot container and then the kids will have a meal that is the perfect temperature for lunchtime at school. BONUS- This is a great way to stretch the budget because you can easily turn their favorite dinner leftovers into lunch or double batch dinner Spaghetti and meatballs and chow mein/rice stir fry are favorites in our family! Both of my kids like their lunch with a drizzle of this Japanese barbecue sauce, and one even adds hot sauce! Yum! LTKVideo LTKBacktoSchool LTKKids
