We got the set that includes the blender as well as the 12 cup food processor so it is essentially two useful salsa / food prep and smoothie maker all in one powerful motor. We made a smoothie in under 30 seconds- using the frozen fruit blends linked- all ice fully chopped and then puréed smooth. For the power that this motor boasts, it is relatively quiet!
