So we did a thing- I let my spouse pierce my ears with a DIY at home ear piercing kit. We got this kit with stud earrings that -SNAP- pierce right through your earlobe in one swift motion. We made sure to glove up to maintain safety and sanitation, and I followed up with piercing aftercare solution to keep it sanitary, while the new ear piercing is healing. Obviously we are not professionals and this comes with a doing this at home is assuming the risk, I’m not suggesting you do this at home. This is my firsthand personal account of how it went.
