Client capsule wardrobe • My client wanted an easy go to wardrobe where she could mix and match items and feel good in each piece. This means investing in good basics and that doesn’t mean spending lots, there is great high street staples which will last for years. • She is 5ft 1 so I have gone for short boxy shirts and tops with high waisted jeans and skirts. This gives a clean silhouette to someone who is shorter as it plays with proportions. • She didn’t want anything too tight when it came to dresses and skirts. A blazer is a great item to wear on top of a fitted top and slip skirt as it skims and covers the hips whilst the fitted top still allows you to show your waist. • An a-line knit dress is a way of doing a knit dress without looking frumpy as it accentuates the waist. • Two easy choices of footwear with these clothing styles is an ankle boot and adidas samba. For more petite girls, an ankle boot makes your legs look longer and a trainer like the samba is an elegant trainer and doesn’t look bulky on the foot. Keeping everything in proportion! • Follow for more or to reach out @sarahconleyx
