In this furniture flip, I’m taking an old trunk that’s in decent shape but just needs a little love and turning it into something way prettier! The client didn’t want a full restoration, just a simple makeover to make it pop. I started by cleaning up the surface and using a heat gun and iron with a wet towel to peel off the old veneer (and yes, it’s as satisfying as it sounds!). Once that was done, I sanded the top of the trunk, filled in any scratches with wood filler, sanded again, and finally primed the whole thing to get it ready for the next step. It’s looking much better already, but the real fun is just getting started. Stay tuned to see how this trunk transforms in the next part of the series! LTKHome
