LOVE how these rift sawn white oak cabinets turned out with our custom finish!! Here’s the formula: first wipe on the “Clear Ultra flat" polycrylic with the direction of grain, and wipe off instantly!! Wait 3 hours or more, and lightly sand it. Then apply the Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2 C in the color “natural” with sponge applicator or lint free rag and really work it into the wood. Leave on about 15 minutes and then wipe off product. We added the “accelerator” that came with the Rubio so it would cure faster. Disclaimer- is not “recommended” to use poly 1st but it really seals the warmth from coming through!!
