Winter is coming. Ski season is almost upon us. Discovered a great new company for base layers (new to me) called Wild Rye. Beautiful colors and patterns. Made from Merino wool. Warm not itchy. Was able to order up to a size 16 and the fit was generous not super narrow. I ended up fitting best in the size 12 pant and the size 10 top. Has a quarter zip so you can have a turtle neck when you want or unzip for lodge or apres. I liked this merlot earth tone color that I found on Sierra but the new periwinkle blue at REI that I linked is stunning as well! These soft shell stretch ski pants are the most flattering pair I have ever put on! Women founded and owned company, Halfdays, is making technical gear that’s designed for our curves. They have me as a customer for life. I’m blown away by the difference in the fit of their collection. This is my second season buying from them. There have a flannel lining for warmth but no insulation. They do have an insulated pair if that’s your preference but if you want a more sleek streamlined look this is your girl!
