Silliness isn’t just fun—it’s powerful! It helps kids feel safe, manage stress, bond with you, learn better, and even supports positive discipline. So go ahead—be goofy, laugh, and play! It’s one of the best ways to connect and help your child thrive. In this activity, I used a puppet to be silly. We laughed, I made silly voices, the puppet ate fingers and toes, and I also learned a lot about what my son knows as far as letters and their sounds because the pressure was taken off.
