I plant heavily in my raised beds each year which means my soil gets depleted of nutrients. It’s crucial to add nutrients back into your soil for your plants to grow big and healthy. I use Espoma Land and Sea Compost because it’s filled with organic matter from both land and sea (hence the name). You can add this at any time of the year however I don’t recommend in the fall once you’ve put your garden to rest for the winter. Adding top soil/ compost can be a simple way to add nutrients back into your soil in the spring. Happy planting! zone4gardening gardening midwestgarden raisedbedgarden trellisgarden raisedbeds backyardgarden backyardgardening vegetablegardening homegardening homegarden
