If you are going to use focal points in your tree, like these owls, start by placing them in the tree first. Just use a little wire and attach them to your branches. I loved using the large owl in the middle of the tree as my main focal point and then paiirs of smaller owls at other points in the tree. I even ended up building nests for all of my owl friends.
