Wood Slat Paneling - Yay or nay? We were so undecided between doing the whole wall or just a section but the wall was really uneven in both the corner and the edge, we really loved the look of the small section with the floating shelf so we went with in that direction! We are having the shelf custom made and built. Will share once officially done. This is such a beginner friendly DIY project. Having the panels makes it quick and easy to install. You could cut and stain your own for cheaper but for us, the pre-made was worth it. Costing $160 CAD for two packs.
