The subtle difference here is that the white pretty collared shirt will create a more elevated look where as the white base layer will create a more casual look.

It doesn’t matter whether you go for a barn coat or a puffa coat (or even a long wool coat), both will go lovely with these base layers.

‘Steal’ leopard print trousers from H&M or do you prefer the ‘Spree’ Ganni ones (which incidentally are in the sale!)?

Either way a pop of red further brings the outfit alive but, if red is too much for you try a cream neutral jumper.
