Wearing your baby is important of your healing 🤍✨🧺 My practice focuses on Healing, Nourishing and Cocooning mommas. This week I am sharing all about H E A L I N G and what that means for postpartum! 🤍✨ 🤍A part of my H E A L I N G series: When our minds are filled with things that need to be done, our bodies are healing after birth AND our babies need to be held, we feel touched out. We feel overwhelmed. And that makes sense. More on this below ⬇️ Make sure to LIKE, SHARE and SAVE for the future to revisit this reel ✨ Did you know: Our babies hold a special power of healing. ✨ There are so many benefits to holding your baby for their needs and healing of course, but did you know how beneficial it is for you as a mother? ✨ Increased oxytocin: that good good feeling🥹 ✨ Connected with your own needs: when we give to our babies, we are more aware of the need for our own cups to be filled. ✨ Cozy energy: momma’s are often more willing to sit, lay down and rest with babies are snuggly on them. ✨Understanding of your baby’s cues: the more we are near our babies, the more we notice what they are communicating 🧺My Doula Basket Tip: try these ways to preparing yourself for postpartum so you can access this healing support 1. Share with family, friends and partner about your needs to snuggle with your baby. 2. ✨Allow✨(meaning release the guilt, shame and control) these ones to do the things around you so you can rest 3. Hire a doula 🤍 4. Create a very minimal clean space to rest with your baby, you will want to be in that space if it’s cozy 5.
