Oh, Hello - and welcome to another Mood-board Monday!

This week we are featuring a project that I haven't seen in person yet- because we've been designing and managing remotely - from Dallas TX to the beautiful city of Virginia Beach.We flew out to measure and plan, and we will go back when more rooms of the house are wrapping up - I CAN'T WAIT!

The property this home is nested into has to be one of the prettiest lots of land I've ever seen. It's green and lush and the perimeter is tree lined in a wild and wonderful way. This kitchen looks out into that gorgeous back yard. We needed to keep the design feeling soft and earthy, approachable, a little elegant, timeless, and liek it was always meant to be! The home itself was tired and rady to be brought into this decade for sure. The orange cabinets and linoleum floors were out.

We brought in mixed metallics, marble, a lovely palette of warm whites and a stellar statement light. Stay tuned for some jaw dropping before and afters when we head back to VA for the check in!

Weekend vibes - and holding out for some better weather over here - it’s been gloomy for too many days in a row 🌧️

Going 90s with these killer Levi’s jeans - you’ve got to try “the wedgie” Jean, they don’t actually ride up too high they are just right (my new fave!!!) and this fuzzy eyelash sweater tops off the look.

I’m learning to dress better for my frame so I’m trying out my first pair of pointed toe sock booties to make my stumpy legs look longer 😂 it’s hard being petite sometimes lol

These boots were made for walking 🎶 and I couldn’t resist a little photo op in front of the leftover balloons from my daughters birthday party 🥳

Friends… these jeans have great stretch! They are comfy - so I’m set for a day of being out and about - dropping in on clients and checking out a new kitchen remodel, looooong day.

I’m a busy mama and business owner so my must haves lately have been heatless curlers and dry shampoo. That extra 20 minutes of sleep is always appreciated.

And just a side note that I caved and got the viral Patrick
Ta foundation and it is absolutely all it is hyped up to be. The setting powder it comes with is a great natural finish. Not cakey or chalky I do love a cream foundation in the cold dry winter weather.
