I’m so excited to share this latest project of mine! It’s been my favorite transformation so far. A few months ago, as we were switching up our floors and interior paint, my hubby and I decided to upgrade our fireplace too! We started by painting the brick white and taking out the ornate, white mantel. My hubby is a country boy at heart, so the only request he had during the remodel was to have a piece of history on the wall. He really wanted to use some old rustic lumber for our fireplace mantel and it was him who found @usreclaimed in Laguna Niguel. This place has an amazing selection and the owners Ben and Bethany Bonin were super easy to work with. They also recommended Ryan Geary at R.G. General Contracting as the installer. I would strongly recommend both companies if you are in the Southern California region. I’m loving this new look and I’m linking all product used in case you are embarking on a similar project.
