Sunday calls for a couch nap (dress) I know Hillhouse nap dresses were all over Instagram and real life in 2020 but I never added one to my closet until now for one reason. I thought the flounce of the straps would make my arms look terrible. They don’t. But I let this silly, insecure, intrusive thought take up space in my head anyway. So I held off on joining napdressnation. Ridiculous, yes. But I’ve since evicted that persistent thought out of my head. I purchased my nap dress after several friends shared how this dress was fantastic for pregnancy and postpartum. The hype makes sense now. It’s incredibly comfortable and breathable in the summer heat. I can see where the dress will grow with me as I get farther along. My arms do not look terrible in the dress. Or maybe I just no longer care about this limiting belief.
