Overall it’s a multipurpose full-body exercise. A nice cardio finisher. A great warm-up finisher. High plank jacks are a combined cardio and core-strengthening exercise. The exercise helps strengthen the muscles of both the upper and lower body. I see an improvement in my core strength and stability.
