📍Stop 1: Reykjavik
Explore the vibrant city center. You can’t miss dinner at Sushi Social - the most delicious meal you’ll have in Reykjavik - and maybe all of Iceland!

📍Stop 2: Thingvellir National Park
Take in the breathtaking scenery and snorkel in the crystal-clear waters of Silfra between two tectonic plates (if you can brave COLD water)! 🤿

📍Stop 3: Stargaze & Watch for the Northern Lights from a Bubble Hotel!
This was one of the coolest places we’ve stayed! It’s such a unique stay sleeping under the stars! And 2025 is one of the best years to spot Northern Lights!!🌌

📍Stop 4: Seljalandsfoss
Hike behind the waterfall and bring a rain jacket and rain pants because you’ll get wet!! 💦

📍Stop 5: Skogafoss
Hike to the top up the many steps or enjoy this epic waterfall from super close up down below (or both)!

📍Stop 6: Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach
Gaze in awe at the striking black basalt sand and dramatic sea stacks. But be very careful of the waves!

📍Stop 7: Fjadrargljufur Canyon 🏞️
Hike the beautiful canyon with jaw-dropping views! This is one of the most epic things we saw in Iceland! It feels like it’s out of a movie and is totally surreal!

📍Stop 8: Day 5: Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon ❄️
Enjoy a boat ride among the glaciers, spot adorable seals 🦭, and make your way to diamond beach!

We booked a trip to visit Iceland and experience the Northern Lights and we will *never* get over how incredible the sight is 😍

😍This is one of the most stunning waterfalls in Iceland! Here’s how to make the most of your visit!

🌍 Getting There: Just a short drive from the charming town of Vik, Iceland, it’s easily accessible via the Ring Road (Route 1). Parking is available right at the site!

👟Hike the Stairs: Climb the 527 steps to the top for an incredible view and a different perspective of the waterfall.

🧥Dress in Layers: Weather can change quickly in Iceland, so be prepared for anything!

🌿 Respect Nature: Stick to marked paths to help preserve the natural beauty of the area.

📸 Don’t forget to capture a rainbow! On sunny days, you might just spot one shimmering through the mist like we did.

🕰️Best Time to Visit: Early morning or late afternoon offers the best light for photography, plus fewer crowds. Don’t forget your rain jacket—you’re likely to get a refreshing mist - especially if you run into the waterfall mist like we did (which was so fun!!)!

✨ Whether you’re chasing waterfalls or soaking in the views, Skogafoss is a must-visit on your Iceland adventure! Skogafoss is one of the country’s largest and most breathtaking waterfalls, cascading down 60 meters (197 feet) with a width of 25 meters (82 feet)!

🚗 How to Get There:
* Location: About 3 hours from Reykjavik, near the town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur.
* Road Access: Easily accessible via the Ring Road (Route 1) and Route 206.

🧳 Travel Tips:
1. Wear Layers: Iceland’s weather can change quickly. Dress in layers and bring waterproof gear!
2. Stay Safe: Stay on marked paths to protect the fragile ecosystem and ensure your safety.
