Today’s makeup look is all about revisiting some of my all-time favorite products, paired with a few new must-haves! ✨ It’s easy to get caught up in the latest launches, but sometimes the best makeup looks come from the gems we already own.

I started with my holy grail foundation for a flawless base, paired with the Haus Labs powder for a soft, luminous finish. Brightened things up with Chanel Concealer and added dimension using the Westman Atelier Face Trace Contour Stick. For a fresh flush, I reached for the Kosas blush—it never fails me!

Brows are on point with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Pen, and I’m loving the MAC Stack Waterproof Mascara and lash primer combo for long, defined lashes. Finished the look with Charlotte Tilbury Lip Liner and topped it off with MAC’s new Sleek Satin Lipstick—a perfect pairing!

PLUS - Dramatic Holiday Eye Look! 💃

Today, I’m playing with mostly all drugstore makeup, all chosen with mature skin in mind! I’ve heard so much about the Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation – it’s ranked second among Canada’s top-rated drugstore foundations, according to Chat GPT, so let’s see how it holds up on my normal-to-dry skin. I paired with the Maybelline Fit Me Loose Powder, ELF concealer, contour, and blush, plus the NYX Line Outloud Lip Liner and Maybelline Lifter Gloss.

Final thoughts: Maybelline Fit Matte +Poreless foundation feels light weight and provides a medium coverage. I prefer a foundation with a touch of glow and hydration but I could make it work by prepping my skin with a richer moisturizer. This foundation would be a great choice for normal/combo/oily skin types.

I created a summer makeup look that lasted through several dog kisses. Bailey and Shelby got in a little spat and Shelby nipped Bailey. Poor guy…this time. He’s not so innocent though. They’re best friends on minute and bickering the next.
