I wanted to share a little something I did for my amazing delivery drivers this holiday season. I decided to set up a snack and coffee cart for them, and I’d love to explain why!

First off, these amazing men and women work super hard, especially during the holidays when things get really busy. They’re out there braving the cold, rain, and sometimes even snow, just to get our packages to us on time. I thought a little pick-me-up could go a long way!

I know how nice it is to grab a warm cup of coffee or a tasty snack when you’re on the go. It’s like a little hug in a cup! Plus, it’s a great way to show appreciation for all the hard work they do. I wanted to make their day a bit brighter and let them know that their efforts don’t go unnoticed.

It’s all about spreading some holiday cheer, right? So, if you see a delivery driver out there, maybe take a moment to say thanks or offer a little kindness. It really makes a difference!

This Thanksgiving, I’m feeling incredibly grateful and excited to give back to our community by creating Thanksgiving dinner boxes for our local food pantry.

This project is especially meaningful to me because it’s a chance to teach our kids the importance of giving back and helping those who may be struggling during the holidays. I want them to understand that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference.

Each box will be filled with everything needed for a full holiday meal. We’ve included a can opener for the canned goods, apple sauce to replace eggs and butter, and evaporated milk for dairy. There are also aluminum trays for serving and festive plates and utensils to bring a little joy to the table.

I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to share this experience with my family and hope it inspires others to spread a little kindness this season.

My new birthday tradition 🎈

This year, I wanted to do something a little different for my birthday, so my family and I decided to create “birthday in a box” kits for those who can’t afford to celebrate their special day. It’s been such a heartwarming experience, and I’m excited to share why we chose this path.

I really believe that birthdays are a big deal—everyone deserves to feel special and loved, no matter their circumstances. By putting these kits together, I wanted to teach my kids about the importance of giving back and the joy that comes from helping others. It’s been a beautiful way to spend my birthday, knowing we’re making a difference together.

Each kit includes everything needed to create your own birthday cake! We even found a fun twist: using Sprite instead of oil and eggs! The bubbles in the soda help the cake rise, making it light and fluffy. They can bake it right in the tin we provide, which makes it super easy and fun!

We also included a whisk, candles, balloons, and plates to make sure they have a complete celebration experience.

I can’t wait to deliver these kits to local food pantries and spread some birthday love to those who need it most. It truly warms my heart to know that we’re bringing a little joy to someone’s day. Spending my birthday this way has been so rewarding, and I encourage everyone to find a way to give back. Let’s spread love and kindness together!

Why I chose to create “Mom’s birthday in a box” 👇🏻

I wanted to share a little behind-the-scenes on why I created a “Mom’s Birthday in a Box” for my kids (mainly my oldest). Now, I know what you might be thinking: “Why are you doing all the work for your birthday?” But it’s really not about me. It’s about my son creating the birthday setup he’s been envisioning for a week. This process is teaching him how to be the best version of himself for his future wife and kids. I want him to understand that these moments matter and that showing love and appreciation is so meaningful. It’s a chance for him to learn how to make others feel special and valued, which will serve him well as he grows up and builds relationships of his own.

He absolutely loves putting together birthday setups, and honestly, I’ve set that bar pretty high for him! But here’s the thing: he’s only 11, and gathering all the right supplies can be a bit of a challenge, especially since my husband is working around the clock.

That’s where this birthday box comes in! I’ve packed it with all the essentials he needs to create the perfect birthday vibe, plus some wrapped gifts from the little ones. It’s really a game-changer! Not only does it make everything easier for my son, but it also helps my husband out a ton. Instead of running around trying to find everything, they can just grab the box and get right to the fun part—celebrating!

DIY Pumpkin Patch

Here’s how I set it up: I took a simple top sheet and hung it over the crib, creating an easy backdrop. It’s amazing what a little fabric can do to transform a photoshoot! For the bottom, I laid down a soft white blanket to keep things comfy and cute.

Then, I added in some different sized pumpkins and fall leaves to really capture that autumn spirit. The best part? We got to enjoy the moment without the fuss of packing up the baby and heading out. Plus, it was a great way to keep my little one calm and comfortable in their own space.

I love how these photos turned out, and it was such a special way to celebrate the season together!

Why I chose a gaming date night 👇🏻

I decided to plan an Xbox gaming night for my husband because, let’s face it, he’s a huge college football fan, and the NCAA just released its first game in 11 years. I knew this was a big deal for him, and even though he doesn’t actually play video games anymore, I thought this would be an amazing opportunity to bring back some nostalgia.

We’ve been together since high school, and I remember how much he loved playing football games back then. So, I wanted to recreate that magic for him.

I thought, “What better way to connect and relive those memories than by diving into this new game together?” I wanted to give him a night that brought back those carefree days, reminding us both of our roots as high school sweethearts.

So, I set up one of our boys rooms, stocked up on his favorite snacks, and prepared for a night to get absolutely rocked in this video game. But I knew it would mean a lot to him, and honestly, I was excited to see that spark of joy in his eyes as we reminisced for just that night.

After we took away our 3-year-old’s pacifier, she started experiencing insomnia. Instead of sucking on her pacifier, she began eating and staying up late into the night. She would wake up all through out the night, exhausted and cranky, constantly asking for her pacifier. Then, we discovered the Breathing Otter.
