DIY Pumpkin Patch

Here’s how I set it up: I took a simple top sheet and hung it over the crib, creating an easy backdrop. It’s amazing what a little fabric can do to transform a photoshoot! For the bottom, I laid down a soft white blanket to keep things comfy and cute.

Then, I added in some different sized pumpkins and fall leaves to really capture that autumn spirit. The best part? We got to enjoy the moment without the fuss of packing up the baby and heading out. Plus, it was a great way to keep my little one calm and comfortable in their own space.

I love how these photos turned out, and it was such a special way to celebrate the season together!

If you’re considering a pumpkin photoshoot, I highly recommend trying it at home. You’ll have all the cozy vibes while avoiding the chaos!

Why I chose a gaming date night 👇🏻

I decided to plan an Xbox gaming night for my husband because, let’s face it, he’s a huge college football fan, and the NCAA just released its first game in 11 years. I knew this was a big deal for him, and even though he doesn’t actually play video games anymore, I thought this would be an amazing opportunity to bring back some nostalgia.

We’ve been together since high school, and I remember how much he loved playing football games back then. So, I wanted to recreate that magic for him.

I thought, “What better way to connect and relive those memories than by diving into this new game together?” I wanted to give him a night that brought back those carefree days, reminding us both of our roots as high school sweethearts.

So, I set up one of our boys rooms, stocked up on his favorite snacks, and prepared for a night to get absolutely rocked in this video game. But I knew it would mean a lot to him, and honestly, I was excited to see that spark of joy in his eyes as we reminisced for just that night.

Toiletry gift bag for my traveling guests 🫶🏻

Since we frequently have family from out of town visiting, I thought a travel-sized toiletry bag would make a great gift. It’s convenient for them to use while visiting and small enough to bring back with a carry-on!

After we took away our 3-year-old’s pacifier, she started experiencing insomnia. Instead of sucking on her pacifier, she began eating and staying up late into the night. She would wake up all through out the night, exhausted and cranky, constantly asking for her pacifier. Then, we discovered the Breathing Otter.

I explained to her that the baby otter needed a mommy to care for him at night, just like how moms take care of newborns. I told her that she needed to keep her hand on the otter’s tummy to help him breathe, which would comfort her and help her fall asleep to the rhythm.

Within just 10 minutes, she drifted off to sleep and slept for a full 12 hours. The Breathing Otter proved to be a miracle for all ages, providing relief for anxiety, sleep issues, stress, heartbreaks, ADHD, sleepless children, separation anxiety, restlessness, and depression.
