I tried a ton of new arrivals from American Eagle and Aerie so you don’t have to! First I absolutely had to get the smocked top dresses from both of the sister brands to compare them. The Aerie one is super light and flowy, perfect for the warmer months! I found the AE one to be quite odd fitting by comparison and the fabric was very stuffy + hot.
