Who watched my stories when I was freaking out about my skin looking so dry in makeup lately? 🙃 I couldn’t figure out if I needed new make up products or my skin prep no longer agreed with my skin. After a few suggestions from you all— and as you see in this video we’re back to a dewy & flawless application.
Here’s what I did:
Step 1 ✨ dermaplaning.
I purchased aloe Vera gel from Amazon & some @schickhydrosilk dermaplan tools and got to work.
This removes any additional facial hair and dead skin cells allowing for an even and smoother application
Step 2✨ @embryolisseusa Lait-Crème Comcentré as my moisturizer. It acts great as a primer too, so you do not have to worry about your make up sliding off of your face. A lot of the pros use this.
Step 3✨ Hydrating products like @onesize Secure The Glow Tacky Hydrating Primer @narsissist Light Reflecting Foundation. A match made in heaven 🩷
Step 4✨ @morphebrushes continuous mist setting spray in between application. After using a lot of powder, it’s easy for your skin to just look dry. This is going to bring the moisture back and set the make up beautifully. 🖤
Step 5✨ @urbandecaycosmetics All Nighter *the hydrating one* we obviously still want our make up to last all night long. So this is going to really set it without mattifying your skin.
