Confession: I watered my tree the day I brought it home and haven’t watered it since. When you touch it the branches flake off and practically turn to dust. It is what it is! I kill almost every plant I bring home so my Christmas trees should never assume they are going to live out their final days looking their best in this house. Pro tip: the flocking hides the signs of this dehydrated tree quite well so keep that in mind if you know you’ll fail at watering it regularly. I buy a real Christmas tree every year, and picking out our tree is one of my favorite Christmas traditions.
