I am so excited to be heading to the lake for Thanksgiving. After camping out there for much of summer, we haven’t been able to get back for almost two months. While not complete, the family room is the room that feels closest to the finish line. (The black on the mantel is going to be camouflaged with a sound proof material. Long story but it’s the only way we could get decent sound in here.)

Our Christmas tree is currently on sale but I expect the price to drop soon. It is the most realistic artificial tree that I have ever seen. Absolutely beautiful in person...

Our bedroom rug is one of my favorite items in our home and it’s currently one sale during Prime Day. We purchased it four years ago and it shows no signs of wear. It’s not a high pile, fluffy rug so that definitely helps…and there has never been any shedding because of that as well.
