Truthfully this wall and these built ins have taken me way too long because life has been busy. In fact it’s still not 100% done even now 😅 the top of the cabinets still need to be attached and caulked, paint needs to get retouched, and the new mantle needs to get stained. The other reason this project has dragged is because I couldn’t find sconces I loved. I tried repainting the original ones gold but didn’t like the look and everything I did like was way out of budget.

I actually fell in love with the capiz sconces by @Anthropologie and @Serenaandlily (you can swipe to see the inspo) but obviously they’re pretty pricey. So when Reagan from @bloomingnest mentioned trying out these candle holders as her vanity lights I instantly knew I had to figure out a way to make them sconces!

They worked out perfectly! It was so easy and super affordable. I’ve got a few different sizes in the candle holders so I’m definitely going to be using them on a couple more light fixtures around the house. Still working on some finishing touches in the kitchen reno that we did with my dad a couple weeks ago but it has probably become my favorite room in the house. I can’t wait to share 💗

We moved Amelia out of her infant car seat this week. I looked at so many options but I kept coming back to to @graco! We ended up buying the Graco 4Ever Extend2Fit Convertible car seat from their Premier line.

This seat can take you from infant car seat, through rear facing, into a high back booster and finally a backless booster. It has a lot of thoughtful details and great safety ratings.

Amelia Rose turned 7 months a couple weeks ago🤯 she cut another tooth this month that’s makes three total, got to watch her brother start all his sports, celebrated her first Easter and loved her little bunny basket, still breastfeeding if you can’t tell the kid loves to eat, still hates her car seat, and still a stinkin’cutie I’d take three more of her if I could 🤣
