BTArtboxnails Soft Gel Nail Tips

Let’s do these Hello Kitty French tip nails at home! 💖✨ I used my favorite long square nude French tip nails by BTArtBox, and used nail foils for this design 💅🏾. I’ve never tried nail foils before, and when I saw these Hello Kitty nail foils, I had to have them 😍. I ordered mine from Tiger nail supply for the low ($7), but there are available on Amazon as well (tagged). I used Beetles nail foil glue to apply the nail foils, and it cured a little bit yellow in areas. It’s not super noticeable because I added other things to the nails. After applying the nail foils, I added pink rhinestones using rhinestone glue and cured it for 60 seconds under my nail lamp 💡✨. I then applied one coat of BTArtBox builder gel, and top coat. I cured each coat for 60 seconds under my nail lamp. To apply these press on nails, I used my favorite drip and clog proof nail glue by beauty secrets, which I get at Sally Beauty 🙌🏾💖. I thought the denim skirt with the beading was going to be a must have for me, but it was way too short lol. I tried it on in a medium, and I could not turn around to show y’all the back 😂.

So you want to start doing your nails at home? I got you! 💅🏾✨ Here’s what should be on your Christmas wishlist, if you want to start doing your nails at home 🎅🏾🎄.

This is what I use to make my own press on nails with gel polish.

After I make them, I apply them with my favorite nail glue. I got all these things on Amazon!

1. Nails lol. Your choice. I like the BTArtBox Tips because they have a lot pre-designed nails so you don’t need base gel polish. If you use the clear Novo Ovo nails (my fave clear nail tips), you’ll need base gel too.

2. Nail Stands. I use these because I’m making press on nails, to avoid putting my hands under the nail lamp.

3. Gel Polish. Your choice! I like this set of skintone shades by Beetles, it has some essential shades.

4. Builder Gel and Top Coat. The builder gel strengthens and hardens the nails, the top coat is applied at the very end.

5. Gloves. I prefer to wear gloves so I can make sure I don’t get any gel on my skin while I’m working on my nails. Safety first!

6. Nail Lamp. I use this beginner-friendly UV and LED nail lamp by SUNUV to cure my press on nails.

7. Lint Free Nail Wipes. I use these to clean my nails with rubbing alcohol before and after working on them.

8. Rhinestone Glue & Rhinestones (or nail charms) if you want to add some bling to your nails ✨

It’s wash day! 🧖🏾‍♀️🚿I picked up the K18 leave in molecular repair mask to try today, as I get ready for my next silk press and sew in appointment.

I try to stay on top of my treatments with my at home natural hair care routine, and I picked up this mask because it’s supposed to help repair damage from heat, bleach, and chemical services.

This is a four minute leave in treatment, so it should be quick and easy. I’ll report back on how it goes!

For Day 4 of my 12 Days of Christmas Outfits, I’m styling this l plaid skirt 🎅🏾🎄✨. I love incorporating plaid into my holiday outfits!

I got this burgundy lace up top from SHEIN (size 6), and it comes with a cropped sheer shrug. I recommend sizing up like I did, because the shrug is very snug, however, the shirt itself is quite stretchy (also sizing up in this lace up top was better for my chest lol).

I added my burgundy fur cuffs from Amazon ($15!), to elevate the look of the top ❤️.

To finish off the look, I wore opaque burgundy, tights, my strappy burgundy heels from SHEIN (true to size), and a gold rhinestone clutch.

For Day 4 of my 12 days of Christmas Oufits, I’m styling this green plaid blazer that I got from SHEIN ($11!)🎅🏾🎄✨. This is such a festive, fabulous, and classy holiday outfit!

I’m wearing the blazer in a size 6, and it is big on my waist so I will probably take it in at some point.

To elevate the look of the blazer, I added these burgundy fur cuffs (Amazon!), and these are a must have accessory for holiday outfits 🎄🦌✨. They come in all different colors!

To complete my look, I went with a white button down (size 4, true to size), red sequin shorts (size 4, stretchy and true to size), burgundy tights, burgundy strappy heels (true to size), and a gold rhinestone purse (TJMaxx ❤️✨).

12 Days of Christmas Outfits 🎄✨ for todays holiday outfit, I’m leaning into the red sequin shorts trend ❤️.

I’ve seen a lot of different red sequin shorts everywhere for Christmas party outfits 🎅🏾🦌✨ and I like this pair from SHEIN because they were not too short lol. They are stretchy, I am wearing them in a size small.

It was hard to find a turtleneck that was an exact match, but this red turtleneck from Amazon was the closest I found (size S).

I got opaque burgundy tights at Target, and matching strappy heels from SHEIN as well.

I finished the look with a red wide headband from SHEIN, an old fur jacket from ZARA, my Louis Vuitton toiletry pouch, and a gold necklace.
