Setting boundaries was something I avoided for years, it felt uncomfortable to do so, and I avoided anything that could trigger those feelings.

My heart would race at even the thought about setting them.

Terrified it would cause problems, or worse, my people pleasing self would be disliked, or even **gasp** lose relationships.

I mastered avoiding conflict which resulted in built up resentment, chronic stress, and severe anxiety.

All of which I now know could’ve been avoided with a quick challenging conversation.

Truthfully it wasn’t until our kids were older and I witnessed how much my lack of boundaries affected my children and marriage before I even began to notice.

Overtime, learning how to set those boundaries became a game changer, even bringing freedom with it. Those who benefitted from my lack of boundaries pushed back hard for a good year, some even two! With quite a few eventually quietly disappearing.

The beauty of finally learning how to do this?

Watching my kids learn how to set healthy boundaries in their lives and flourish from it.

Our children learn more from our actions than our words.

If I wanted them to learn and implement it, I needed to break the generational cycles and pave the way.

I was blessed to have a near and dear family member help guide me through it, the funny thing? Almost all of what they said was covered in the first two books!

So if you’re not in a position to have that guidance, these are fabulous resources.

These I-spy bags are from Stitched4UByTrippy2 and so worth the money!! Will be testing out on our upcoming roadtrip. Also, as a seamstress I can’t help but notice stitching work on everything, as I mentioned I bought from a few places to test out. Some had the poorest stitching I have ever seen😱 I’m going to assume they’re new to their endeavor and it WILL improve in time. But Stitched4UByTrippy2 sewing skills are great! Very impressed with her work and will use these for gifts for others in the future as well!

⬇️Gabby was by far our worst sleeper...OR was!

I invested in the Baby Merlin's Magic Sleepsuit when she was 6 months and OH MY GOSH IN ❤️!!

The one time those 3am amazon scrolling nursing baby 1/2 awake paid off🤣

The first week I thought it was going to be a waste of 💰 but week 2 was a dream😍

Designed by a pediatric PT, it was a great transition from the swaddler, giving her that wrapped/comfort feeling.

The dilemma we ran into last month? It wasn’t fitting😱
The week without was a NIGHTMARE.

Gabby is a ROUTINE baby, she has her little pieces from her routine she refuses to part with.

We’ve since upgraded to the sleep sack and it’s been 👌

My absolute favorite gift to self when we added a husky to our family😆 Meet Dobby, always there to vacuum up Bears hair. DO have to remember to empty it daily. The only downfall is the mapping as I didn’t want it in bathrooms, nothing is more torturous than trying to get 5 girls hair untangled from its wheels if going in there. Also Bear loves to follow it around and change its course🙄 The version we have they no longer make, tagged the upgraded version.

I’m honestly blown away how good this shower head filter works!! After experiencing the benefits and softer skin & awesome hair I’m for sure wanting to do a whole house filter! This is an excellent starter as your skin absorbs so much of toxins! We went with the enhanced option, and of course now it’s cheaper than what we paid!

Finally took a chance and ordered an actual homeschool planner off Amazon, and I absolutely love this one! It makes it so much easier to track how many days we do school, enough space to write what we’re working on that day! Then there’s extra features allowing you to write out field-trip plans, along with resources and passwords which I haven’t used as we do basic tracking.

I took it to fedex to have the soft binding cut off, and added a spiral bind + a cover. Makes it so much nicer to use!

How do we combat picky eating?
👉🏻Get them involved in the kitchen👏🏻

Have them wash and prep veggies.

If able, have them chop em too!
This part was a little scary to watch😬

Even better?
Have them help grow and take care of the veggies!

We’ve done this with all four kiddos and it makes a WORLD of difference!

Ooooh wanted to share this!! I bought one in March after listening to a bio hacking episode and wanting to help with bone density. Turns out this has been the BEST THING EVER for my lymphatic edema issues🙌🏻 I use this EVERY morning for 5 mins, then again before workout. My husband who likes to make jokes about my crunchy ways has also been using it when he remembers before working out since Summer! It’s suggested to not use more than 15 mins per day, in the beginning I went over that as I would do it 3x a day. Now things run as they should and just do 10 mins total!

But seriously, research how these have helped with building more bone density. If you’re over 30, nows the time to get serious. By 40+, even more important. Had a hysterectomy, through menopause? Get on it!

This year we’ve gotten back into the routine of canning and have expanded to more than just tomatoes! I personally don’t like water bathing in the house or pressure cooking, so this outdoor grill has worked great! I own two of the black pots for outdoor use when water bathing.

The great thing is Costco and Sam’s carry a lot more organic items! I tend to order my seasonings online from Sam’s so I don’t have to think about it. Sadly paprika is from Amazon as local places we shop don’t have it in organic. All seasonings and spices that are none organic are sprayed with chemicals to help them last, hence why we swap for organic.
