I upgraded my home coffee station to include the Breville Barista Expresso espresso machine. I switched from traditional pod based systems...here's what I've learned after 8 weeks of using the machine. ☕️ Espresso making (if done correctly) is an art and science...you can invest as much time into this "hobby" as you want ☕️What you brew with this machine tastes far better than a Nespresso. If you are a true coffee lover, I cannot recommend making the switch to this machine enough! ☕️ While the machine comes with a tamper, I've found it hard to be consistent and consistency is a key component of good espresso pulls. I recommend getting accessories such as a distributor, spring tamper, and WDT tool ☕️ The quality and freshness of beans does matter. Do not use old beans you've had in your cabinet, and try some speciality brands you may find at Whole Foods. Ive even been loving the Costco Cuban blends! This is truly a quality machine and I've enjoyed using it and having it in my kitchen. It would make a truly special gift for the holidays or a house warming gift to the coffee lover.
