Fashion Sneaker round up (part 1) Every week I will be answering your questions about what to wear with my recommendations. This week I had several different people ask me what are the hot trainers for women right now. Even my mum (who is in her 70s and very chic) wanted to know how to wear trainers that were comfortable but still looked luxe and went with all of her outfits for an upcoming trip to Europe this summer. My first recommendation for her was the Loewe ballet runner in white. She bought them and is in love. They are selling out everywhere so we were lucky to find a pair… they have a slimmer sole than the Flow Runner shoe (the best seller from Loewe right now) and collapsible back which makes them easy to pack. They are understated, elegant and comfortable. The perfect sneaker. If you don’t want to break the bank on a pair of trainers though, there are plenty of great options linked here from Nike (the Vapormax zoom 3 in fluorescent yellow is top of my list for running, I have the zoom 2 and they are light as air), Converse (I stock up every year on the classic black and white chuck Taylor 70 hi tops, the Converse x CDG hearts are my favourites!) There are some classic brands like adidas (samba or gazelle, I prefer the gazelles as they are suede and a slightly slimmer silhouette), sustainable brand Veja (the Venturi is one of my go neutral ‘dad trainers’) new balance (the 327 with new N tape in black and white is a classic and a good alternative to the expensive Loewe flow runner look). I will add a few more links to my LTK shop today! Happy shopping LTKActive LTKShoeCrush LTKOver40
