What to wear to a kids birthday party/ outdoor BBQ / pool party… Having moved from the UK to Florida not long ago my wardrobe was totally unprepared for this type of dressing. Our kids parties were mostly at indoor play centres and pubs and now we are poolside in 100 degree sun with water activities that usually involve the parents. I’m still looking for great easy wardrobe staples that look casual but put together for these events, but I had to trade my heavy midi dresses and jeans for lighter weight shorter dresses, pull on shorts, onesies and oversized boyfriend shirts.
