SMOKY MAPLE BRUSSELS SPROUTS
(recipe is from my latest cookbook HAPPIER, HEALTHIER AND HOTTER- HIGH PROTEIN, LOW CALORIE, BIKINI FRIENDLY RECIPES)
one pound Brussels sprouts, washed and halved or quartered (depending on size)
1/2 tablespoon olive or avocado oil
1 tablespoon real maple syrup
smoked salt to taste
Preheat oven to 400. Place sprouts in a bowl, drizzle with oil and syrup and stir until well coated.
Spread sprouts into parchment lined baking sheet and sprinkle with the smoked salt.
Roast until easily pierced with a fork and starting to brown a bit. Usually takes about 20-25 minutes.
Makes 4-6 servings.
