I took these pics a few weeks ago by my sister @jenlieb1 ‘s beautiful pool (the little Bluetooth clicker was in my left hand.) I left my house at 7 am and drove over an hour so I could get set up while the lighting was good.

Pushed myself out of my comfort zone with those last few shots and love how they captured the way I feel- strong, confident and unapologetic.

When I started my original Happy Healthy and Hot blog in 2015 I used a cracked iPhone 6 propped up on an almond milk carton to take pictures, smiling an awkward smile in the kitchen while presenting my latest recipe creation. I wouldn’t have dreamed of posting a bikini pic back then.

I liquidated a small IRA (which was the only money I had in my own name- but that’s another story) to purchase a little MacBook and enroll in my first health coaching certification.

I worked full time as a server and bartender for years while building my business and this account. I remember getting home from work after midnight on a Friday and getting up early to paint a wall of my house white (it’s a rental and I didn’t ask for permission) so I would have a neutral background for pictures and videos.

I love sharing positive thoughts and affirmations here, along with my health and weight loss tips. Because what we feed our mind is so important.

But all the positive affirmations and visualization aren’t going to do a thing until you get off your ass and take some action towards creating the life that you desire.

Sharing my thoughts on a rainy Sunday morning, sipping smart sexy coffee in bed wearing a cute little lounge set. Proud of the life I’ve created and the woman I’m becoming.

It feels so good to feel so good- and that’s what I wish for all of us. (Even the haters 😊)

This is great to use any time you need to feel calm and centered. It’s best to practice it on a regular basis (I often do it in the morning while saying my affirmations) so you can call on it when you need it.

The longer exhale activates the parasympathetic nervous system, and the uneven counting also brings us into the present moment.

When you take the emotion out of it, the number on the scale is just that- a number.

So you absolutely can weigh yourself regularly (I do it daily) AND pay attention to how you feel, energy levels, sleep, and how your clothes fit

Can’t stop talking about the amazing results I’ve seen from this jaw exerciser.
