To make a DIY magnetic chalkboard all you need is four pieces of material. You start out by cutting 1/2in plywood into your desired shape, we cut ours into a house. Then you take galvanized sheet metal and cut it into the same shape. Adhere the galvanized sheet metal to the plywood, using liquid nails and let it for 24 hours. We taped down our edges to make them extra secure while it was drying. Then you paint it with matte black exterior paint, this works better than chalk paint. And that’s it! We decided to add a frame around ours using, 2x3’s. I’ve linked the exact materials and paint we used! | DIY home project, sandbox, kid backyard play space, DIYs, screen free, toddler activities | DIY DIYS DIYhomeproject homeDIY sandbox kidbackyard playspace DIYs screenfree toddleractivities LTKhome LTKfamily LTKkids
