"What I Wore On TV" and Why!⁠ ⁠ I've been questions about what I wore on the TV segment, so I thought I would share what I wore and why I selected what I did. My dress is from Macy’s and seriously, I knew it was the dress I would wear the second I saw it.⁠ ⁠ From a style and trend perspective, I picked it for two reasons. First is the color. Pink is going to be "the new burgundy" this spring. As the weather gets warmer and we transition out of dark colors, pink will replace burgundy as the "it" color of the season. ⁠ ⁠ Second is the hemline. One of the trends that I talked about and am demonstrating in this photo is the asymmetrical hemline. The way this dress wraps with the chain clasp, it gives it an asymmetrical look which I love.⁠ ⁠ From a practical standpoint, this dress was really comfortable! I liked that it was a thicker material (but not too heavy), had a flattering fit without being too form-fitting and had something just a little different in the chain detail to make it interesting.⁠ LTKStyleTip LTKOver40 LTKWorkwear
