Reverse decorating... from 🎄to 👻! I started out with a Christmas mantle design to start giving people ideas for the year. Then I thought... l really don't want to take this down. So Ihad the crazy idea to cover it all with Halloween! Then once Halloween is over, I just remove Halloween and Christmas is up! Seems like a good plan right? Putting Halloween on top worked wonderfully. I am obsessed with how it turned out! Stay tuned to see if the transition after Halloween goes to plan. My process: 1. Remove berries and glitter ornaments from Christmas mantle 2. Cover large @vickerman ornaments with Halloween fabric 3. Layer garland with droopy bits of Halloween fabric 4. Add in black florals. All from Hobby Lobby that I spray painted black 5. Added in sticks 6. Then spiders! For the past couple years I've hung these guys on my front porch and I was ready to try something new! 7. Then to top it off... ALWAYS ribbon. I added a large 3" black velvet bow along with satin 1.5" ribbon. LTKHalloween LTKParties LTKHome
