HOW TO ORGANIZE YOUE HOME: if I wanted to organize my home for the New Year with ZERO DOLLARS, this is what I’d do: ⬇️⬇️ 1. write out a mini plan. start with the room you want organized the most, then move down the priority list to the last room you want organized. (ex: living room, kids bedroom, kitchen, nursery, laundry room, garage) 2. break down each room into subsections. (ex: living room: clean up toys, clean off tv stand, organize living room cabinets, clean in and under couch, clean out ottoman) 3. the things you’re cleaning should fall into 3 categories: KEEP, TRASH, DONATE. (ex: you open a living room cabinet and you find: a. toys your kids love: KEEP b. old remote and a stained shirt TRASH c. A baby blanket in good condition: WASH & DONATE 4. give yourself a week for each room, so you don’t feel rushed, and try to get a little done each day, or all in one day (however your brain works best).
