CLIENT GOAL:
“Decorate the living and dining room with existing furniture and new paint scheme.”

CLIENT WISHLIST:
• New: rug, curtains, side tables, paint colors, perhaps another chair or ottoman.
• Would a coffee table crowd the room too much? We need places for people to put their drinks!
• Please keep these current pieces in the design: Dining Table, Couch, black Ikea Bissa shoe storage (2-3 units).
• One of our windows looks into the garage. We would like it to disappear into the wall, hidden, since no light comes through.

We have a REVEAL! Even better - it’s my little sister’s reveal!
Weiner (the nickname I gave her that she has come to accept and appreciate - I swear) had done some work after she moved in but wanted help completing her vision after the space wasn’t coming together as she expected.

A few months later, she completed 90% of the project and could not be happier with the bedroom she comes home to. She sits in her swivel chairs, listening to records, and watches her cats play on the screened-in porch.

Clients use my virtual room makeovers ranging from full overhauls to adding the finishing touches - this one was somewhere in between.

The ideal height for a side table should be within 2 inches of the arm of a sofa or chair for convenient access. When dealing with armless furniture, align the table height with the seat height. For instance, if the sofa arm measures 22 inches, the table should range from 20 to 24 inches in height. Nightstands can also double as side tables, providing additional storage and surface space. These are client favorites for a reason! Burled wood tables, iron nesting tables, marble T table, fluted nightstands, and a light oak nightstand.
