Burgundy is a color that has been on-trend for so long that it’s basically considered a neutral…and I really love it for the holidays!

This top by ASTR The Label is a gorgeous deep burgundy color that looks amazing on so many skin tones. It has strong shoulders, subtle rhinestones all over, and a comfortable elastic waist. It’s super forgiving in the tummy area if that’s a concern for you. A lot of sparkly, sequin tops can be scratchy and unpleasant to wear, but this top is really lovely and comfortable. It’s selling out so fast, so if you don’t see it available in your size (it runs true to size), it also comes in a beautiful white color. We’re also sharing another burgundy option below!

I styled the ASTR The Label top with a pair of dark wash wide-leg jeans by Favorite Daughter and a chic pair of burgundy slingback pumps. This look is perfect for a holiday party, dinner party, casual work holiday party, etc.

The neckline is loose and doesn’t come up too high, so you don’t have to worry about it highlighting the skin underneath your chin. This is one of those timeless, elegant, beautiful holiday tops you’ll wear year after year.

The sleeves have structured shoulder pads that add some extra drama. I have it on in the ivory color, but I also love the black and silver options. It’s super comfortable and not itchy at all, which is not always the case when it comes to sequins!

I styled the top with a pair of black wide-leg jeans by Veronica Beard that are so flattering, and a pair of classic black booties by Schutz. This top would look really great with a silk maxi skirt or black wide-leg trousers too. It runs true to size.

It also has hyaluronic acid which is very hydrating, perfect for that delicate skin under the eyes. It is a cream, so you don’t really need any additional eye cream underneath unless you want the added moisture.
