watch me struggle through this spicy bee’s knees🐝🌶️

This is what happens when I try to share a cocktail recipe while house sitting and stealing whatever I can from my mom’s kitchen🤣

The joys of renovating.

for one serving:

- 2 oz gin
- 1 oz lemon juice
- 1.5 tbs apricot jam
- 1/2 of a serrano pepper, sliced (more or less for spice preference)

In an empty cocktail shaker, add all ingredients and muddle to release the oils of the serrano. Dry shake (no ice) until well mixed and the jam is well incorporated.

You can either add ice and shake again before straining into a chilled glass or (if you’re struggling like me) chaotically strain straight into a glass filled with ice and garnish with a serrano slice.

Just a fun little reminder that you don’t need all the tools to make a yummy cocktail, just creativity🫶🏻

figgy jammy bee’s knees🐝

Having trouble finding figs? No problem! This fig jam bee’s knees can be shaken up anytime with some delish fig jam and just a few other ingredients!

- 2 oz gin
- 1 oz lemon juice
- 1 tbs fig jam
- honey thyme simple syrup

Add all ingredients to a shaker and dry shake (no ice) to blend the jam. Once well mixed, add ice and shake again until chilled. Strain into a coupe glass and garnish with a fig and thyme before enjoying!
