So, full transparency, our Disney Trip over Labor Day weekend was probably our most challenging trip thus far. COVID-19 and mask-wearing in near 100-degree temps we fully expected; a toddler who ONLY wants to walk and explore with new-found independence and attitude, we did not. As first-time parents, we were ignorant. 😂 So, we had to adapt. A lot. We realized that 2-3 rides a day would probably be the max that our inpatient bub would allow, we would need to make lots of lunch reservations so we could take breaks, a midday trip to the hotel for a nap was mandatory, and almost every pic would be an action shot! Since we are passholders, we are able to visit pretty frequently - however, if this was our one huge trip of the year that we were planning to spend major $$$$ on, I would probably make the decision to wait until Ollie was a bit older and the weather was a little cooler. Obviously, to each their own and it’s truly a personal decision, but we learned a lot on this trip and will plan accordingly for our next visit! Regardless, Disney felt very clean, safe, and I had absolutely no concerns during our visit! Hand sanitizer was everywhere, social distancing was respected, park crowds were very low, and the mask rules were followed! . .
