How to Hide in Plain Sight by Emma Noyes ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Eliot Beck lives in NYC and hasn’t seen her family in years. She arrives on her family island in Canada for her brother’s wedding and that is when she see’s her childhood best friend and her first love, Manuel, whom she hasn’t seen in years either. Eliot has OCD, not the cleaning or the turning on and off light switches kind, but the obsessive thinking kind. Most of her family do not know that she has this, and she feels that she needs to hide it from them. I loved the inclusion of OCD in this story. She has struggled with these symptoms since a tragic thing happened in her childhood. Her family is dysfunctional, but in the end, they actually do love each other. The characters were fun, different and memorable. The storyline was interesting, and a big piece of the puzzle talked about mental health. I love family dramas, and this one was great. howtohideinplainsight books bookrecs bookrecommendations LTKSaleAlert LTKHome LTKFindsUnder50
