Nobody’s Perfect by Sally Kilpatrick ⭐⭐⭐💫 Vivian Quackenbush is a stay-at-home mom to her son who is newly in college. While she thinks she is getting ready for a life of being an empty nester, she comes across divorce papers from her husband, Mitch. Her world is turned upside down. She has a YouTube site called Mom Scout where she posts tips for fellow moms. Vivian drunkenly posts a video that goes viral. All of a sudden, she is receiving opportunities to be an influencer for certain products. She is going through all of this alongside her two best friends. I never connected with Vivian’s character and was honestly annoyed with her at times. She seemed much younger than her actual age. I wish the friendship between the three of them was more robust and more connected. Lots of mistakes were made and most of them I felt were avoidable. This was a story about Vivian trying to find herself after divorce. I do love the Mom Scout’s idea; my son is in Cub Scouts and earns badges – why can’t I too? The ending felt lackluster and predictable. LTKHome LTKFindsUnder50 LTKGiftGuide
