Say You’ll Remember Me by Abby Jimenez ⭐⭐⭐⭐💫 Pub Day: April 1, 2025 Abby Jimenez does it to me again. How does she create these beautiful rom-coms with big meaning behind them? I don’t know what is going on, but a lot of books that I picked up this month have dementia as a common theme. We are dealing with my father-in-law that has dementia that is taking over his life, and I can’t seem to get away from it. With that said, it is represented beautifully in this story. There were so many heartbreaking moments that pair with many laugh out loud moments where I had to tell whomever was in the same room with me what happened. Samantha meets Xavier, a hot vet, days before she leaves Minneapolis to move back home to take care of her mother with dementia. It’s always fun when Jimenez throws in Nadia Cakes into her stories (it is delicious by the way!). I absolutely love Xaviers friends, they were both supportive and hilarious at the same time. My only beef with the book is that Jimenez creates these MMC’s who look absolutely perfect and cannot do anything wrong. I wish she would throw in some real-life characteristics to these men. The women seem to have some sort of issue or something going on but the men come right in and save the day. This was another Jimenez book that I couldn’t put down. I cannot wait to see what she comes up with next! I think my ranking of Abby Jimenez books are in this order: 1- Part of Your World 2- Just For The Summer 3- Say You’ll Remember Me 4- Fall Risk (short story) 5- Yours Truly 6- The Happy Ever After Playlist LTKHome LTKFindsUnder50 LTKActive
