We don’t do a lot of gifts throughout the year— we try to keep it simple, so I look at the Easter basket as a way to “restock” some outdoor staples for spring and summer. I’ll often add fun things that I would end up getting later during a target run but instead we intentionally swap candy and unnecessary junk from the Easter basket. Things I always love to include: - summer pajamas - flip flops/sandals - sun glasses - bubbles/chalk - a sensory bin activity (depending on age) this is a great deck/porch activity - a quiet activity- like a refresh on drawing supplies/sketch book or a card game There are years where I’ve done a family fun addition like a minidip pool or splash pad. Swap the candy for things you will already buy anyway. This helps you be ready for the warm spring days and random purchases later. candyfreeeaster easterbasket easterideasforkids LTKKids LTKFamily LTKSaleAlert LTKSaleAlert LTKBaby LTKKids
